Travel/Contract role in Miami, Florida
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:00–15:30
40 hours per week
13-week contract

Role Summary

Provides perioperative nursing care for pediatric and adult congenital cardiac patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures. Responsibilities include scrub and/or circulating duties, operating room preparation, sterile technique, patient safety, documentation, and coordination with surgeons, anesthesia, perfusion, and the surgical team.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
CVOR experience with 2 years of experience
CVOR experience within the last year
Perioperative nursing experience
Experience with complex cardiac procedures and cardiopulmonary bypass
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

Cardiac surgery experience
Pediatric, congenital, or adult congenital cardiac experience
CNOR, CPN, or equivalent certification

Additional Notes

Immediate-fill need to prevent disruption to scheduled cardiac surgeries
