RN - Tele

Overview

• Location: Lafayette, Colorado
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Unit: 32-bed telemetry unit
• Patient load: Average 3–5 patients depending on acuity and shift
• Floating: May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• On-call: No scheduled call shifts; may be placed on call if the hospital does not need coverage that night or at the beginning of the shift

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• 1 year of telemetry experience
• EKG competency and rhythm interpretation
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Certification as appropriate for the unit or service

• Uses UKG Pro/Kronos for timekeeping and scheduling
