Overview

Provides and coordinates patient care through assessment, evaluation, and treatment with a goal of wellness and recovery.

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Wyoming
Current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current, valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Current, valid Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
5 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Nursery experience
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
Pediatrics experience

Experience

Previous hospital experience preferred
NICU experience

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within scope of practice
Provide patient education
Transcribe, utilize, and implement protocols and physician orders
Coordinate the healthcare team and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel
Complete required fetal monitoring classes if working in Labor and Delivery

Skills

Strong customer service, communication, listening, organization, time management, problem-solving, and confidentiality skills
Ability to work effectively without immediate supervision
Ability to learn new computer software programs
