Job Details

Specialty: Labor and Delivery (L&D)
Shift: Days, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (3x12)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: As required by facility
Call Requirements: None

Unit Information

Unit Type: Labor & Birth
Number of Beds: 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum, 4 pre/postpartum
Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:1 or 2:1 (estimates, not guaranteed)
Equipment: External fetal monitoring
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: EPIC
Float Requirements: May be required to float to postpartum unit

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Preferred Qualifications

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
