Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• Unit: Telemetry (CC4 Telemetry / 618), including 2 Tele floors and a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) floor
• Number of Beds: 345
• Staff: Float pool of about 80 staff members
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:5 during day shifts; varies by unit and shift
• EMR System: Meditech / CPN
• Typical patient population: Large cardiac population with varied acute and chronic medical issues
• Floating: Required to float to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry experience within the last year
• Acute Care experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong Telemetry experience
• Chemo Certification (preferred for scheduling on Oncology unit)

Typical Procedures & Responsibilities

• Care for patients on Telemetry and PCU floors
• Perform a variety of procedures related to cardiac and medical care
• Support multiple inpatient units as needed through floating

Shift Information

• Day shift: 7 AM to 7 PM
