- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- CPI
- NIHSS
- ENPC within 90 days of hire
Schedule
- Every other weekend
- Cannot commit to block scheduling
- Must be flexible to meet department scheduling needs
Floating
- No floating outside the Emergency Department
- Must be open to floating to all sections within the Emergency Department
Unit Experience
- Experience in a Level II trauma center
- Experience in a comprehensive stroke center
- Experience in a high-volume emergency department with more than 100,000 visits
Preferred
- Previous HCA experience
