Travel RN - Telemetry Unit

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

Unit: Telemetry (2 Tele floors and a Progressive Care Unit)
Number of Beds: 345
Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:5 (varies by unit and shift)
EMR System: Meditech
Float Pool Staff: About 80
Shifts: Day and Night shifts with RNs and CNAs
Unit Environment: Family-oriented, collaborative team atmosphere
Floating: Required to float to inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units

Required Certifications & Licenses

Registered Nurse License
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIH Certification

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience (strong Tele experience required)
Chemo Certification is a plus (for potential Oncology unit scheduling)

Ideal Candidate Profile

Flexibility and willingness to float between units
Team player with compassion
Open to learning and caring for patients with a variety of acute and chronic medical issues
