12-hour shifts (10:30 AM to 11:00 PM)
Total 36 hours per week

Job Description

Work in a brand new, state-of-the-art Emergency Department (ED) facility
Patient ratios may vary, with potential for 1:4 to 1:5 or higher during surge periods
Must be willing to float within the department as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current certifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Harassment Prevention Training Certificate
