Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Shift Details

  • Day shift, 3 shifts per week
  • 12-hour shifts (10:30 AM to 11:00 PM)
  • Total 36 hours per week

Job Description

  • Work in a brand new, state-of-the-art Emergency Department (ED) facility
  • Patient ratios may vary, with potential for 1:4 to 1:5 or higher during surge periods
  • Must be willing to float within the department as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
  • Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Current certifications:
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Experience with Epic electronic health record system
  • Harassment Prevention Training Certificate
