ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year

Schedule

Every other weekend
Must be able to meet department scheduling needs
Cannot commit to block scheduling

Work Setting

No floating outside the ED
Must be open to floating to all sections within the ED

Unit Details

101 beds
Typical patient ratio is 4:1 for medical patients
Up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
Techs are available for cardiac monitoring, internal processing, and triage
Unit clerks are available days and nights

Skills and Expectations

Teamwork mentality
Ability to coach and give feedback in real time
Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED
Uses Cerner for documentation
