Job Overview

• Location: New Ulm, Minnesota
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates not accepted within 100 miles
• Pending license accepted
• Block schedule may be considered

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association or American Academy of Pediatrics
• FHM
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• IV Start capability

Preferred Qualifications

• AWHONN Intermediate
• Charge nurse experience

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Weekend coverage requested every other weekend, with every third weekend worked
• No on-call requirement
• Typical patient ratios: days 1:3, nights 1:2-3, weekends 1:2-3
• Average daily census: 1-2

• 19 staffed beds

• Scrubs are provided

• Epic charting system used
• Physical exam within 12 months prior to start is required
• Tdap is required
• Respiratory safety clearance is required
• Background check and Minnesota DHS clearance are required before start
