Registered Nurse (Rehabilitation) - Travel Assignment
Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Weekend (Friday through Sunday)
Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed
Job Description
- Work in a 14 or 12-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation unit focused on recovery from severe injury or illness.
- Provide specialized, intense rehabilitation tailored to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
- Patient population: Adults aged 18 years and older.
- Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1 RN to 7 patients.
- Utilize equipment such as EKG machines and bladder scanners.
- Electronic Health Record system: Cerner.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- Minimum 1 year of rehabilitation experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Weekend shifts only (Friday-Sunday).
- Critical thinking skills are important for this role.
- Scrub color: Royal blue.
- Parking available on the outer perimeter of the building (patient/family spaces reserved).
