Cath Lab RN Travel/Contract Job

Schedule

• Day shift
• 4x10 hours
• 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Assignment Details

• Contract length: 13 weeks
• On-call required: about one evening per week and every 4th weekend
• 30-minute response time required for call
• Locals accepted
• Candidates residing in Indiana are subject to a reduced bill rate
• Schedule requests and accommodations must be submitted with the application; later requests are not guaranteed
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• 1.5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit test within 12 months of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire required and updated annually
• Measles immunity by positive titer or 2 vaccines
• Mumps immunity by positive titer or 2 vaccines
• Rubella immunity by positive titer or 2 vaccines
• Varicella immunity by positive titer or 2 vaccines
• Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccination documentation or approved exemption required during flu season
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
• Background check required within 90 days of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check required within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG check required within 30 days of start
• Education verification required
• Transcript or diploma required
• Tech certification verification required within 30 days of start
• Competency and compliance documents must be completed before start
