Job Overview

  • Role: Registered Nurse
  • Location: Reno, Nevada
  • Employment type: Travel
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 3x12 days
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
  • Call: None

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Nevada
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Intermediate Care experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Intermediate Care experience
  • Must be able to pass an ECG/Telemetry exam that includes reading and interpreting rhythm strips

Clinical Experience

  • Experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, arterial lines, neuro-stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management is required
  • Medical/Neuro ICU experience is preferred

Scheduling Expectations

  • May be required to float within competency
  • May be required to work major holidays
  • Must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays
  • One additional shift is required during each 4-week schedule period
  • Schedule may include weekends and holidays
  • Low-census call-off may occur up to 48 hours per 13-week contract, including full or partial shifts
