Operating Room (OR), 29 beds
Patient ratio: 1:1
Unit staffing includes unit secretaries and tech availability
Equipment includes standard OR tools plus 5 Da Vinci Robots, Mako, and Velys Robots
Documentation system: Cerner
Scheduling is flexible; call required

Procedures and Specialties Supported

Ortho Trauma, Orthopedics, Spine, Neurosurgery, Gynecology, Urology, General Surgery, Robotics, Vascular, Pediatrics, ENT, Plastics, Podiatry, Oral-Maxillofacial (OMF), Dental, Eye Trauma

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of experience as a First Assist, including experience within the last year
OR First Assist Certification
Certified First Assistant (CFA)
Certified Surgical Technologist First Assistant (CSTFA)
Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
Experience in Ortho Trauma, Vascular Surgery, and Urology
