Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Florence, South Carolina
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 06:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Job Summary

Provide professional nursing care in the Operating Room setting, including patient assessment, preparation, and positioning for surgery.
Execute nursing interventions consistent with the Plan of Care and physician orders.
Delegate, supervise, and evaluate activities of team members during routine and urgent situations.
Maintain communication with the surgical team and patient’s family.
Ensure compliance with Safe Surgery checklist and sterile field protocols.
Document all care accurately and timely.
Assist with supply and equipment control and maintenance.
Participate in assigned call as scheduled.
Demonstrate ongoing professional growth through education and goal setting.
Utilize computer programs relevant to patient care delivery.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
