Registered Nurse - Cancer Center Infusion

Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Acute Nursing
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, no weekends
Hours: Approximately 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
Work Setting: Central office-based (not at a cancer facility) with required travel to select healthcare facilities

Job Description

Develop, coordinate, and deliver evidence-based educational programs and competency validation for oncology nursing staff
Collaborate with nurse leadership, clinical specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to support orientation, professional development, and continuing education
Monitor compliance with oncology-specific regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards, including Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) guidelines, chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification, and competency requirements

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York with primary source verification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of infusion experience, including infusion experience within the last year
Medical-surgical nursing experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Current Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Certification
Phlebotomy skills
