• Setting: Labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
• Bed count: 8
• Staffing: 19 staff members
• Patient ratios: 2:1 for labor patients; 4:1 for couplets
• Common equipment: Fetal monitors
• Typical procedures: Deliveries, recovery, and newborn testing
• Floating: Occasionally to ED or Med/Surg as a sitter
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Call requirement: 1 call shift per week, with potential for 2 calls in weeks with only 2 shifts

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Utah
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• NRP
• STABLE
• CEFM or AWHONN
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursery experience

Preferred Qualifications

• C-section experience

• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Meditech CPN is used for charting
