Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position

Location: Wytheville, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 (guaranteed)
Weekend Schedule: Rotating weekends
Call Requirements: None

• Patient population includes adults, geriatrics, pediatrics, and infants
• Equipment includes ventilators, EKG, BiPAPs, oxygen therapy
• Electronic Health Records systems: MEDHOST, MEDITECH

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
• Experience working with pediatric patients
• Experience with adult ventilators and CPAP

• Dress code: Scrubs of any color allowed
• No call responsibilities
• No float requirements

• Comfortable working night shifts with rotating weekends
• Experienced in managing common diagnoses such as COPD
• Skilled in use of respiratory therapy equipment across all age groups including infants and pediatrics
