Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job

Location: Beaufort, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Dayshift (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• 3 travel nurses needed for day shift
• Patient ratios: 1:5 or 1:6
• Nurses will float between Medical-Surgical and Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
• Shift schedule includes weekdays, every other weekend, float, and holidays as required
• Facility enforces a 50-mile radius restriction for candidates
• First-time travelers are accepted
• No license or background issues will be accepted

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
