Overview

  • Location: Issaquah, Washington
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
  • Weekly hours: 36
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Washington
  • ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Unit Details

  • Adult and pediatric emergency department, including ED holding, triage, and urgent care
  • Handles chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness, emergent, urgent, and non-urgent conditions, and injuries
  • 20% pediatrics

Required Clinical Skills

  • Chest tubes, including setup and care
  • TPA
  • Breathing treatments
  • Trach care
  • RSI drugs
  • Cardioversion and defibrillation
  • Cooling and warming blanket use
  • LVAD/Impella
  • 12-lead EKG acquisition
  • Rapid infuser
