ICU RN Travel Contract

Location

• Chesapeake, Virginia

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Day shift, 4x12 hours
• 48-hour contract option available
• Every other weekend, floating, and holidays are required
• Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays

Unit Details

• ICU
• Typical patient ratio: 1:2–3
• Candidates must be willing to float to stepdown, the emergency department, or medical-surgical units to care for ICU patients being held

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Virginia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Ventilator management
• IV drip titration
• Conscious sedation
• Dysrhythmia recognition and management
• Neuro critical care experience
• Stepdown experience
• ED - Emergency Department experience
• Experience with Epic

Compliance Notes

• Candidates with any license or background hits will not be considered
• Local RN candidates living within 50 miles are not eligible
• Submission requires a completed cover sheet, current NURSYS report, and all requested time off listed on the cover sheet
