Interventional Radiology Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Eureka, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Overview

  • Work in Cath Lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures related to Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Vascular Disease, and Cardiac Arrhythmias.
  • Procedures include coronary and peripheral diagnostics/interventions and permanent pacemaker placements.
  • Daily caseload: 8-12 cases.
  • Shift: Day shift, 4 days a week, 10 hours per day (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM).
  • Call required; no weekend or floating requirements.
  • Orientation: 30 hours.
  • Block scheduling may be considered.
  • Locals accepted.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in California.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
  • Fluoroscopy permit required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years.
  • Employment application covering at least the last 5 years of employment.
  • Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp).
  • Background checks include national and state-specific searches as applicable.
  • Photo for badge required (passport style with neutral background).

  • Scrub colors provided for Cath Lab staff.
  • Supportive environment with resources for travel staff housing and orientation.
  • Located in a scenic area with access to outdoor activities and unique local culture.

Notes

  • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
  • Return to office (RTO) must be approved at time of submission.
  • No prior travel experience required.
