Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg-Tele RN with at least 2 years of specialty experience and Bi-Pap/high flow O2 proficiency for a night shift contract position.

Details

• 21-bed general medical observation unit specializing in Med/Surg-Tele care
• Patient conditions include COPD, pneumonia, infections, and UTIs
• Requires comfort managing Bi-Pap and high flow O2 therapy
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope to similar units may be required

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg-Tele specialty required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
• 2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years) required

Additional Information

• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility with a verifiable permanent address; no exceptions
• Local candidates will not be considered
