Registered Nurse – Radiology

Location: Long Island City, NY 11102
Start Date: 11/30/2026
Duration: 9 weeks
Shift: Days, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts

Charting System: Epic highly preferred
Float Required: Provides nursing coverage for MRI, CT, PET, mammography, and ultrasound procedures
Call Requirement: Not specified
Note: IV experience, point-of-care testing, and radiology experience required. Minimum 2 years of ambulatory outpatient and radiation safety experience required.

Position Overview: Provides safe, patient-centered nursing care for outpatient radiology procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessment, IV-related care, procedure preparation, monitoring, patient education, documentation, and collaboration with the radiology team to ensure patient safety.

Requirements:
License: Active New York State RN license
Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including ambulatory outpatient and radiation safety experience; 1 year of travel experience required for travel positions
Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS
Other requirement: IV experience, point-of-care testing, and radiology experience; Epic experience highly preferred

Patient Population: Outpatient and ambulatory patients undergoing diagnostic imaging and radiology procedures
Patient Diagnoses: Conditions requiring CT, MRI, PET, mammography, ultrasound, and related diagnostic imaging
