Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for an evening shift role at a Level 1 trauma and academic medical center, requiring 5+ years of OR experience.
Details
- Work in the 6K Operating Room unit of a Level 1 trauma and academic medical center
- Role includes both scrub and circulate duties, though circulate-only candidates will also be considered
- 10-hour evening shift, 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- Off-shift (evening/night/weekend) staff should be prepared to support all service lines including pediatrics and eyes
- Day shift staff should be well-rounded across ortho (joint and trauma), neuro (crani and spine), plastics/burn, gen/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gyn, gyn oncology, urology, robotics, CV, thoracic, vascular, and transplant cases
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- 5+ years of Operating Room nursing experience preferred
- Level 1 trauma center and academic medical center experience preferred
- Surgery center experience does not count toward required years of experience
- No significant unexplained work history gaps over 30 days
Additional Information
- Perform scrub and/or circulate duties across a wide range of surgical specialties
- Must be ready to float and support multiple service lines depending on shift
