Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Operating Room position requiring 5+ years of Level 1 trauma and academic medical center experience.
Details
- Operating Room unit within a Level 1 trauma academic medical center
- Scrub and circulate duties required, though circulate-only applicants will also be considered
- 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week, 6:30pm-7:00am
- Night shift supports all service lines including pediatrics and eyes, along with ortho (joint and trauma), neuro (crani and spine), plastics/burn, gen/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gyn, gyn oncology, urology, robotics, CV, thoracic, vascular, and transplant
- No floating required
- No charge nurse responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license
- Minimum of 5 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- Academic medical center experience required
- Surgery center experience does not count toward years of experience
Additional Information
- Perform scrub and circulate duties across a wide range of surgical service lines
- Local candidates will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must not have previous travel experience with this facility to be considered ineligible for exclusion
- All RTO must be submitted at time of application
