Start Date: July 6, 2026
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, every other weekend required, 13-26 week assignments available

• Medical Surgical unit with oncology patient population requiring chemotherapy administration skills
• Comprehensive support services including IV teams, rapid response, pharmacy, respiratory, and lift teams
• 42-bed unit with Epic charting system and Pyxis medication management
• 24-hour orientation with first-time travelers welcome
• Oncology certification preferred; facility willing to train and support chemo certification if needed
• Floating to similar acute care units and emergency department inpatient holding as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care/inpatient RN experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to administer chemotherapy/biotherapy via IV, PO, and injection routes
• North Carolina RN license or multistate Compact license
• Experience with Med/Surg patient care, port access, blood product administration, and central line management
• Competency in colostomy care, PICC lines, heparin/insulin administration, surgical drains, chest tubes, and wound care/wound vac
• Proficiency with isolation precautions, non-invasive airway management, and oxygen delivery systems
• Must pass facility EKG testing prior to start date
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Availability to work during emergency events including storm team/hurricane team assignments
