Registered Nurse - General Surgery

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized nursing care using knowledge from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Care is culturally based and age-specific, following the American Nursing Association (ANA) code of ethics and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

The position is on a fast-paced, 39-bed General Surgery unit with all-private rooms. The unit primarily cares for patients undergoing general surgery, ENT procedures, and medical overflow. This environment offers a solid clinical foundation in medical-surgical nursing and supports both experienced nurses and new graduates in a team-oriented, supportive setting.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
