Job Title
Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location
Cartersville, GA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown unit setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a general medical-surgical floor
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
- Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
- Adhere to all unit protocols, compliance requirements, and holiday scheduling expectations
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of IMC, PCU, or Stepdown nursing experience
- Ability to meet full compliance requirements prior to start date
- All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule changes permitted post-offer or post-start
- Willingness to work assigned major holidays per contract scheduling policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience as a travel nurse in a similar unit setting
- Familiarity with stepdown or progressive care monitoring and telemetry
