Kaiser has done a very good job with building out KP HealthConnect which integrates Epic. They have invested billions into the system so data, workflows and processes are executable.

Utilization Review

This is the first Kaiser I've worked in, so this was an experience for me. The facility was good and the staff were welcoming and appreciative. I would definitely go back.

Certified Surgical Technologist

They advertise it as an ICU position but you will float majority if not all of your shifts in MedSurg/medtele. They float their travelers within 4 hours or sometimes 8 hours of the shift. So you can go from one MedSurg floor to the next MedSurg floor and expect to take full patient assignments. Some PCTs helpful. Staff RNs are selective with the amount of help they give. A lot of their work effort is less than the bare minimum. No opportunity for OT. They will place you in a template for your schedule and could change at any point even after schedule is posted. Management is passive aggressive via email. They audit your charting all the time.
