Cost of living Difficulties with communication among staff members . Jaded , over worked , overall tired coworkers
You're a pawn
The leadership team can't get organized enough to get your assignment ready til 1 hour after you've arrived. The facility was 3 months in disrepair. 2 north has the most uppity nurses that care more about your charting than patients lives. They enjoy scrutinizing your charting than caring about their patients safety and comfort. If you need the money I guess it will do for a job but if you care about patients the charting robots that work there will make you miserable. They won't help you either. They will tell you what your patient needs sometimes. The pcts do nothing but sit down. You're in your own there. FYI

Only pros i can think about is state mandated ratio but of course Kaiser found a way to work around that
Cons
No schedule flexibility. The manager is an unreasonable egotistical maniac who will put you on a DNR list for very flippant reasons. The techs on the floor are 90% useless. I can only think of 2 techs that actually do their jobs. So you're basically doing total care for all your patients. They are NOT traveler friendly at all. Proceed at your own risk.
