Completed my first travel gig at Kaiser Manteca and had to call in due to childcare circumstances, this was communicated very well with the scheduling department (might I add sucks at communication), and my assignment got canceled. I tried to reapply for an assignment with Kaiser Modesto, but when they asked for references from Kaiser Manteca, they didn’t have one positive thing to state. Might I add that I walked in countless times into Kaiser Manteca not being on the schedule only to find out I was supposed to be floated to their Modesto location, without any notice again from the scheduling department. Overall, their scheduling department lacks communication skills, management and staff are fine as long as you chart everything they want timely, but overall very disappointed with my experience with my first travel assignment with Kaiser.
