Beautiful unit, great coworkers, awesome learning experience
Passavant hospital is beautiful in itself, as well as the CVICU, which helps to create a better work environment and made me proud to work there. My coworkers and bosses were awesome and always worked as a team, and I could actually call a lot of them my friends. The CVICU is recognized with the Beacon Award, and the hospital itself is Magnet and highly rated in the state and country. The CVICU primarily brought in thoracic surgeries, as well as cardiac (CABG, TAVR mostly) and occasional vascular patients. The unit also takes post-cath patients if they’re unstable, all post-arrest patients, and potentially overflow of ICU/SICU/MICU patients if need be. I had such an amazing experience and learned so much at this hospital.
Wonderful place
This hospital was amazing! The pre/post sector were so accommodating and welcoming to third party travel RN’s! I had such a great time at this hospital! My best contract thus far!
