Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts Friday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Perform technical procedures under direction of Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist
• Utilize CT scan technology to create diagnostic images in fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment
• Provide patients with safe and positive experience during imaging procedures
• Perform CT exams on trauma patients, emergency room patients, outpatients, inpatients (stable and intensive care), research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Support teaching and continue learning as technology changes
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Must be graduate of approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in New York required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration required
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer certification required
• Entry level position with MIT Level assigned based on skill set and experience
