RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with both day and night positions available
• Care for 5-6 patients requiring inpatient hospitalization for medical or surgical issues/procedures
• Must be willing to work every other weekend or one weekend shift per week (Saturday and Sunday)
• Nurse to patient ratio of 5-6:1
• Work alongside up to one other nurse and LNA/UC on the unit
• Float to all med surg remote telemetry units on 2nd and 3rd floors
• Occasional float to PCU when needed (required)
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required
• Must be EKG competent
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• BSN not required
• Equipment used includes Pyxis medication station, MEDITECH charting system, Alaris IV pumps, and remote telemetry system
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation required (2-3 shifts on floor plus 8 hours hospital orientation on Monday)
• 50-mile radius restriction for local candidates
• Call-off policy allows cancellation of up to one shift per two weeks
