Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - CVOR
Job Details:
• Work 4, 10-hour shifts with weekend rotation and no on-call requirement
• May occasionally float to outpatient surgery
• Provide assessment, coordination, delivery and evaluation of nursing care in acute patient setting
• Deliver direct patient care, patient/family education and care transitions
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Maintain collaborative relationships between patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in 10-bed unit
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, California RN License
• CNOR and PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience with Orthopedics/Vascular/Robotic Surgery required
• CVOR experience required
• Scrubbing highly recommended
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• All certifications must be AHA certified and in hand at time of submission

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
