Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with telemetry patients
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for three 12-hour shifts
• Must work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period
• Must work weekends and holidays
• Float within service line to meet facility needs
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• BCLS and NIH stroke scale certifications required
• ACLS and CPI certifications preferred
• Must be proficient in telemetry monitoring and reading cardiac rhythms
• Experience with cardiac medications and drips without titration required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Skills required include blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tube management, heparin protocols, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and post-cardiac procedure care
• Navy scrubs required
• No artificial nails or nail enhancements allowed
• No crocs with holes permitted
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract
• No RTO allowed during first week of assignment
• Pending Missouri license accepted
• Must reside outside 75-mile radius from facility

Facility:

This acute care hospital features 233 staffed beds and provides comprehensive cardiac and telemetry services. The facility specializes in caring for cardiac patients including pre and post cardiac surgery, cardiac catheterization procedures, and TAVR patients. The telemetry unit offers 28 beds with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The hospital maintains modern equipment and uses EPIC charting system for documentation.
