Description
Opportunity:
RN - Tele; Additional Notes from VMS= Nephrology Telemetry Nights
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts in Nephrology Telemetry unit
• Guaranteed 36 hours for three 12-hour shifts per week
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Required to work 2 shifts every other weekend (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday for night shift)
• 1-2 years of experience preferred, first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BCLS and NIH (NIHSS)
• Must have skills in cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of dysrhythmias
• Special requirement: Peritoneal Dialysis experience
• Will float within scope to similar units to meet facility needs
• No on-call requirements
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Scrub color: Navy
• Charting system: EPIC
• Care for adult patients with diagnoses including COVID, unstable cardiac conditions (HF, a-fib, MI), and renal failure
• Work with special equipment including lift equipment
• Unit has 27 rooms and 27 beds with daily census of 25 patients
• Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, transportation, and unit secretary

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
