Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - SICU
Job Details:
• Work in high acuity ICU environment with 1:2 patient ratio
• Float requirement to other ICUs and SDUs
• Weekend coverage required with self-scheduling
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must have 2+ years of specialty experience and travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Must have transplant experience with liver, heart, lung, kidney, and pancreas patients
• Preferred experience with PA catheters and balloon pumps
• Experience required with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy
• Care for post-op CABG, valve replacement/repair, aortic dissection patients
• Manage IABP and PA catheter patients
• Provide general post-op care for surgical recovery patients
• Work with cardiac surgery patients, transplant patients, general surgery, and overflow patients
• Must be over 65 miles from facility location (no local travelers accepted)
• Compact or Louisiana license required upon submission
• Emergency team assignment possible during weather events or emergencies
• NURSYS report required (within 4 weeks of submission)
• No block scheduling requests accepted

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
