Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Perfusionist - Perfusionist
Job Details:
• 2 years of experience required in perfusion specialty
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Call schedule includes weekdays and weekends in rotation
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 8 hours of orientation required
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must complete formal training program in Extracorporeal Technology
• Certified by The American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion required
• Current Louisiana state license as Perfusionist or ability to obtain required
• BLS certification required
• Conduct adult cardiopulmonary bypass procedures
• Provide ventricular assist support and Intra Aortic Balloon Pump support
• Conduct ExtraCorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)
• Perform auto transfusion, physiological monitoring, and hemofiltration including acute dialysis
• Operate various blood analyzers and Ex-vivo organ systems
• Must be available for emergency team assignments during events
• Must live over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)
• One pre-approved time off allowed per contract

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
