RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week (3x12 schedule)
• 1:6 patient ratio on nights
• 2 years of nursing experience preferred, first-timers accepted
• Weekend requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend (6 weekend shifts in 6-week schedule)
• Float within scope to meet facility needs - could be pulled to any unit except ICU, SDU, and ED
• No on-call responsibilities
• Required certifications: BCLS and NIH Stroke Scale
• Navy scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• Free parking provided
• 38 hours of orientation
• Care for adult patients with orthopedic, neurology, medical/surgical, and stroke diagnoses
• Daily census of 21 patients
• Skills required: Telemetry monitoring (on-unit and remote), PICC line management, IV starts and maintenance, PCA pumps, CVA care, total joint replacement care, isolation precautions/PPE
• Must complete required modules within specified timeframes
