RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 5 years of ER experience required
• Travel experience required
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Self-scheduling system
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (all must be AHA certified)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Care for all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 12-bed emergency department with daily census of 50-70 patients
• Skills required include dysrhythmia interpretation and management, central line care, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, BiPAP/CPAP management, ABG interpretation, ventilated patient care, isolation precautions, and triage
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, and social services
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Valid California RN license required at time of submission
• 7-year work history verification required
• Only one holiday time-off request approved per contract
• Must complete non-billable e-learning modules during orientation
