RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work on Neuro Ortho unit providing Med Surg/Tele nursing care during night shifts
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6 for both day and night shifts
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week working three 12-hour shifts
• Weekend requirement of 2 shifts every other weekend (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday for night shift)
• Float within scope to meet facility needs - may be pulled to any unit except ICU, SDU, and ED
• 2+ years of nursing experience preferred, first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Must have skills in CVA care, isolation precautions/PPE, PCA, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry monitoring (both on-unit and remote), and total joint replacement care
• Care for adult patients with orthopedic, neurology, med/surg, and stroke diagnoses
• Daily census of 21 patients
• Wear navy scrubs
• Use EPIC charting system
• Complete 38 hours of orientation
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed within 13-week contract
• No on-call requirements
• Start date 3-4 weeks from assignment due to compliance requirements
