RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week (3x12 schedule)
• Patient ratios: 1:5 during days, 1:6 during nights, 1:5-6 on weekends
• Weekend requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday for night shift)
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Must be willing to float within telemetry service line
• No on-call requirements
• Work with adult patients primarily with telemetry monitoring needs
• Daily census averages 27 patients across 29 rooms and 46 beds
• Navy scrubs required
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Skills required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, isolation precautions/PPE, peripheral line care, nasal cannula, and non-invasive airway management
• 38-hour orientation provided
• No local candidates accepted within 75-mile radius
• Pending license accepted
