Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Seeking team player with cardiac catheterization experience
• 18 months experience in specialty required, 2 years preferred
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 12-hour shifts, 40 hours for 8/10-hour shifts
• Call required as part of position
• Weekend coverage can be discussed with manager
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs and to sister facilities within 20 miles
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS and BLS, RCVT (Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech) preferred, RCIS also preferred
• Must be nicotine free - no exceptions, negative 10-panel + nicotine drug screen required
• Scrub color: Ceil blue
• Charting system: EPIC
• Must complete time-sensitive modules pre-start (average 6-15 hours, non-billable)
• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Skills include cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, PCI, PTCA, and maintaining sterile field
• Work with middle adult and older adult patient populations
• Maintain sterile technique and follow isolation precautions
