RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 5 years of emergency room nursing experience required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend schedule required with 3 weekend shifts per week
• Self-scheduling type
• 24-hour orientation program
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (all must be AHA certified)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Care for all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 12-bed emergency department with 11 rooms
• Daily census of 50-70 patients
• Skills required: BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line management, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, procedural sedation, triage, IV vasopressors, and isolation precautions
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Valid state license required at time of submission
• 7-year work history verification required
• Complete orientation modules through e-learning system
