RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 5 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Every other weekend coverage required
• 4:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Self-scheduling system
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 12-bed emergency department with daily census of 50-70 patients
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (all must be AHA certified)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must have Trauma Level II experience
• Skills required include BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line management, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, procedural sedation, and triage
• Valid state license required at time of submission
• 7-year work history verification required
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Only one holiday time off will be approved
• 50 miles travel requirement applies

This coastal healthcare facility operates a 12-bed emergency department that provides comprehensive emergency care services. The facility maintains Trauma Level II capabilities and offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, and social services. The emergency department serves a diverse patient population across all age groups and maintains a busy daily census, providing comprehensive emergency medical care to the surrounding community.
