Opportunity:

RN - Pediatrics CVICU

Job Details:

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients with cardiovascular conditions ranging from simple to complex health problems
• Must have CVICU experience in a Level I trauma setting
• Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed and manage intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans during hospitalization and discharge
• Make referrals for patient care needs to appropriate personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• One year of nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required
• Current Basic Life Support (AHA) and PALS (American Heart Association) certifications required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills needed
• Computer skills required
