Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Sunday and Monday 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (40 hours per week)
• Holiday coverage, on-call, and callback availability required per unit needs
• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans following department safety protocols
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging services
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing procedures
• Position patients appropriately, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility using safe patient handling techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records by documenting all necessary components within EPIC system
• Ensure proper image identification and correct transmission to PACS system upon exam completion
• Maintain clean and safe scanning facility environment
• Completion of formal training from approved School of Radiologic Technology required
• Current ARRT certification through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
• New York State licensure required prior to start date
• Two years of CT technologist experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• Six months of Siemens scanner experience required
• Injection certification preferred or willingness to complete during orientation
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
• EPIC experience highly desired
