Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities include 2-3 call shifts per month
• May be required to work holidays, callbacks, and holidays per unit needs
• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing
• Position patients accordingly, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility using safe patient handling techniques
• Maintain accurate patient record keeping by documenting components within EPIC
• Ensure proper image identification and correct transmission to PACS system
• Maintain clean and safe scanning facility
• NYS licensure required prior to starting position
• Must have injection therapy certification on license at time of submission
• Two years of experience required with Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• Completion of formal training in approved School of Radiologic Technology required
• Must maintain ARRT certification
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
• Epic experience highly desired
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
